Building a Church that supports the Family, a Family that raises Leaders, and a Leader that serves the Church

Only the parents have all the keys to properly raise a child

First, many people leave their children¡¯s religious upbringing to an expert. Nowadays, the world is being influenced and driven by experts, due to the world becoming more complex as it continues to develop. Particularly in the field of science, tons of innovative instruments that are too complex to be handled by non-experts, are in continuous production. Following these trends, the fields of education and psychology are also producing professionals. However, the problem is that there are emerging professionals addressing child education issues, who claim that they specialize in child development and have the ability to better understand and teach children the things that need to be taught than their parents. Sure, this is true in areas that require expertise and training, such as science and music, but many contemporaries believe experts are more reliable than parents in helping and guiding children to be religious, develop moral values and view of life and teach them to make wise decisions.

Second, mothers long for freedom away from their children and out of the home. They feel that they need their personal lives and personal time, and desperately want to be freed from caring for their children. Have you ever imagined how a family would look if a mother had her separate life and time away from her husband and children? The idea that a child is a nuisance is gripping her mind and body, and she is looking for someone to make her feel comfortable by taking care of her children for her. Instead of trying to raise her child to be a great person, she, along with many mothers in the world, are consigning their children to the care of a babysitter or daycare.

Third, many parents think they have no choice but to put their kids under someone else¡¯s care because kids refuse to listen to their parents. Because these parents do not discipline their children, they are unafraid to disobey, do not follow orders and throw tantrums, all of which become bad habits. Most parents who raise these children don¡¯t see the problem as a result of their lapses in responsibility, but simply believe they lack the ability to properly raise their children, and turn to people they think are more capable. It is important for parents to keep in mind that they should be responsible for child rearing, that no one can raise children as well as their parents and that by raising them according to God¡¯s method, they can raise their kids successfully. We must never forget that the keys to child rearing are held solely by parents.
